Tehran hosts private screening for ‘Appendix’

The Mellat Cineplex in Tehran has hosted a private screening of movie ‘Appendix’.

Directed by Hossein Namazi, the private screening of the film was held in the presence of Iranian artists on Monday December 11, 2017.

Roya Teymourian, Leila Otadi, Hossein Mehri, Ziaeddin Dorri, Maryam Kaviani, Mona Farjad, Sogol Tahmasebi, Melika Sharifinia, Ali Rouein-tan, Mohammad Hamzei, Rama Qavidel and Ali Mollaqolipour were among the artists that participated at the ceremony.

‘Appendix’ depicts a social theme which narrates daily social events. The story occurs in a hospital; the particular location reminiscent of anxiety and stress, depicting problems in the society.

The movie's cast includes Anahita Nemati, Amir-Ali Danaei, Reza Akbarpour, Pardis Manouchehri, Marjan Momeni and Mohammad-Ali Kiani.

‘Appendix’ has so far succeeded to win best Screenplay Award from the 41st edition of the Montreal Film Festival in Canada.
